Clouds under the small shadow of a cloud, how do you trail when you're flying so high?
Tomorrow I wake at 4am to go on another adventure where I will sleep under an open sky, cook my food on a hot fire and walk for miles and miles. See you in a few days.

Sometimes the camera you prepare to bring just doesn't work right for the situation, such as driving 65 mph down the road. In that case sometimes the iPhone in your pocket works better! Amazing what you can do with some of the cameras just laying around.

Imagery is what I love, if you're here then you probably love it in some way as well. That said here is an artist that will poke the cobweb covered corners of your mind such as the image to the left done for a collection of Russian fairy tales.
Kate Baylay does work for many fairy tale that seem to provoke the image from her, when you look at them it's almost like you can see her imagination at work.
Take a look at her work here, it is all pretty astounding.
Her blog can be found at katebaylay.blogspot.com
Sometimes you see something that you like, but you're not sure why, then you start to unfold it, expand it and look deeper into why you enjoy it and you find that while not all of it's parts are pleasing there is a core there that is beautiful. Sometimes I see this in textures and I just can't escape them.

All this fog seems so lazy, just sitting around waiting for the sun to rise and scare it off like a mother shoeing a child out her the way of her work.

Seems like a place you would walk past on your way home in the 1800's. I'm not sure why, that's just how it hit me.

This little lady kept wandering closer and closer to me as I was walking towards here until suddenly her instinct took over her interest and she headed off. Her regal posture is quite enjoyable though.

Today has managed to solidify me in what I am and hope yet to be, it's a step I want to make every day but today in particular feels like a leap, not for mankind, but for I.
Experience something beautiful, it may change your life.
Now enough pondering on the world and the state of our souls. Here is a image I made today while walking around a new area at about 6am, my feet were frozen and when I got home I rang a good 6oz of water out of my socks but it was well worth it for such a beautiful day.

I can't go on long drives anymore and make good time, it seems I'm stopping every 15 minutes as the sun sets to create a new image of some fancy thing I see along the way. This tree stood here all alone on the edge of the road looking out over the lake with a couple little brothers looking up to him, waiting for their turn to grow and stand in the sunlight.

Went out walking tonight at a beautiful garden with a windy storm blowing in and the sun setting through a mountain of clouds and regardless of all of the scenery zero inspiration struck me. That being said I have no image for you today but instead a short video that continues to inspire me. No matter what you think of the song this video is just genius, if you have fine minutes then take a look.
Imagine someone walking through the trees where they are glowing and golden. That's how I think when I a scene like this.
