A cloudy day off a nearby shore.
A lot going on lately, this may be my favorite image I've created of myself to date.
1 1/2 Ounce Tia Maria or other coffee liquor
1 1/2 Ounce Green Chartreuse
1/2 cup heavy cream, beaten to thick but pourable consistency
With nearly two days prep time this is one interesting drink.
5 oz Oleo-Saccharum
16 oz Gunpowder Green Tea
8 oz Gin
8 dashes Celery Bitters
This view used to greet me often. It is shortly outside the front door of the house I grew up in in northern Idaho.
One of the biggest things I noticed in our recent trip was how little you can see of the sky. Unless you're near the top of a mountain you can only see small amounts and it's rare that it's anything but blue or cloudy. This is on the hill behind the house I grew up in looking back at the mountain behind.
A view from the Mickinnick trail in Sandpoint. It's a solid climb up 2150 feet in elevation gain and had our legs burning pretty badly by the time we got back to the car but like always the view and experience we had were both fantastic.
We took a vacation to the area where I spent the most time as a child. This image is the valley near the town Bonners Ferry in northern Idaho from a lookout off of the road down a small mountain. I hadn't been in that area in over 10 years so the change in perspective from child to adult is pretty dramatic.
Meant to be viewed full screen. At a tired little pond in the middle of a woods that no one ever visits stands a tiny little island with a couple lonely trees and while the others tire and rest for the winter there is still one that rages its color against the bleak fog of winter. Now Playing: Sonoio - Can You Hear Me?
Enjoyed a beautiful night outside around a fire with family and stopped on the way home out in the middle of nowhere to make this shot. The skies were so clear and perfect.
