Roll

One of many areas seen on a two day hike I took into South Western Pennsylvania this past weekend. It was the most invigorating experience I've had in a while and I look forward to breaking my new record of 31 miles in two days, I'm still trying to figure out how high 607 flights of stair is but according to my Fitbit that is the equivalent of what we climbed.

In The Strange Grey

Sometimes the camera you prepare to bring just doesn't work right for the situation, such as driving 65 mph down the road. In that case sometimes the iPhone in your pocket works better! Amazing what you can do with some of the cameras just laying around.

Twist

Sometimes you see something that you like, but you're not sure why, then you start to unfold it, expand it and look deeper into why you enjoy it and you find that while not all of it's parts are pleasing there is a core there that is beautiful. Sometimes I see this in textures and I just can't escape them.

Curious

This little lady kept wandering closer and closer to me as I was walking towards here until suddenly her instinct took over her interest and she headed off. Her regal posture is quite enjoyable though.

Fourth Over the Water

I can't go on long drives anymore and make good time, it seems I'm stopping every 15 minutes as the sun sets to create a new image of some fancy thing I see along the way. This tree stood here all alone on the edge of the road looking out over the lake with a couple little brothers looking up to him, waiting for their turn to grow and stand in the sunlight.

Youghiogheny River Panoramic

My first attempt at a panoramic HDR, the light was not optimal but with travel times I had no option other that to shoot at mid day and in reality I'm fairly pleased with how it's turned out. This river area was so beautiful that it's hard to capture it in a small image.
