The Windows Project

I have been wanting to start this project for a long time and I've finally got it set up and am ready to start.

The eyes are called the window to the soul, sometimes your shades are drawn.

What does a person look like without their soul? It may change you, or it may not be what defines you.

I ask everyone reading this to please let me take their picture as I would like to create a similar image of you, I can be reached through the contact options on this site or if you know me already then just send me a text.

Many cultures still believe that having your photo taken will steal your soul, will you let me take yours?

Simple

I wanted to do something simple today. I've had Kanji and coffee on the brain a lot lately for a lot of different reasons so I wanted to do something to combine them, the result is this semblance of an amoeba. I plan to start learning a character a week starting fairly soon and I really look forward to packing them all into my brain.

Stuck in Wonderful

A photographer who continues to do wonderful work every single day and expand the minds of millions, Trey Ratcliff has been an inspiration to me and a huge encouragement to color outside the lines of an image. He run a daily photo site at www.stuckincustoms.com where he posts some of the best HDR images known to man.

I encourage you to take a look at his work and see many places in the world through his eyes.

Check it out at www.stuckincustoms.com.

Example of an HDR image below.

Kampai!

Now that the year long project I was doing is over I have been thinking about it a lot (every day in fact) and come to the conclusion that I want to continue to uphold to the rule of a photo a day on this site.

I want to expand on subjects and take on new challenges and say thank to everyone who has been with me through this ride, we have many more wonderful images to come! I love to hear your comments and criticism, encouragement and guidance.

There are several set ideas and photo challenges coming up including some new projects and subjects, I've never been more excited about photography, it still scrapes my soul of everything to lay down a fresh impression.

Toast to the years to come!
