With an image like this if you allow yourself to focus on nothing and everything at the same time you can get to a state of clarity where you pretty much forget that sight exists. Had some christmas lights around a large mirror that worked almost exactly like a ring flash, in trying to capture the result of this I got distracted by these little snowflake ornaments with the light bouncing off of them in the strong bokeh.
